From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: MORNING GLORY (Kirkland 1929) M. 36". Very large flowers of heavy substance and a most attractive combination of red violet tones. It is of the type of Morning Splendor, but much brighter in color; in fact, it is absolutely brilliant. The garden effect is splendid and the plant is vigorous and hardy. A superb Iris. MORNING GLORY-This is one of the Chancellor's older productions and one which immediately attracts attention wherever seen.
