Lloyd Austin, R. 1954). TB, 45" (114 cm). Late midseason to late bloom. Color Class-VR4. Dark wine red and bright mulberry lined in white, large white blaze around beard; prominent mulberry horn 1/2" long projecting from end of beard. Seedling# JS-M-176B X seedling# 638. Rainbow 1955.

From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: MULBERRY SNOW (Austin '55) L-40". Novel "snow-capped" appearance due to large prominent white blaze at top of fall. Standards dark reddish wine. Falls below white blaze intense mulberry. A fine breeder. Its pollen gave me Flounced Marvel & Horned Mystery. (JS-M-176B X 638).
