From Milliken Gardens catalog, 1949: This particular iris is a charmer. A demure flower of soft gray-blue-the falls are a pale campanula blue with edges a shade lighter; the standards are this lighter blue. The beard is golden and flanking it are pale chartreuse reticulations. The flowers are not large, 6 inches, and their main charm is in the rather prim, starched appearance of the flowers, which are gracefully placed on low, well branched stalks. $5.00. |
