From Glen Road Iris Gardens catalog, 1924: NAOMI (Sturt. 1924) — Well-balanced flowers of size born on strong, branching stalks, the colors bright lilac and gleaming satiny dahlia carmine with a striking contrast of orange and buff on beard and styles. 3 ft. Not for sale until 1925. The stock is reserved for prizes offered at American Iris Society exhibitions in 1924.
From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: NAOMI (Sturt. 1924) E. 42". S. bright lilac. F. gleaming Dahlia carmine with a striking contrast of orange and buff on the beard and styles. Very strong and vigorous. The color is extremely striking and brilliant. We think that this is one of the finest iris Miss Sturtevant ever sent out. $.90.
