From Western Iris Gardens Catalog, 1948: NATIONAL GIANT (National, 1942). M. 44" Generous height of stem and gigantic size of bloom typical of many National creations is here exemplified in bronze-violet standards and rose-violet falls. Violet veining at haft is accented by an orange beard. Excellent. $1.50
