2000, Ransom

'Nebbiolo' (Lawrence Ransom, R. 1999). Seedling 89/51-14. TB, 32" (80 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards light cobalt violet, base paler; style arms pale cobalt violet, edge and crests yellower; falls deep garnet violet, edge paler, upper third white ground netted garnet; beards vermilion orange, mid-layer garnet, base white; pronounced spicy sweet fragrance. Seedling 86/74-2: ('Pink Taffeta' x 'Needlecraft') X 'Queen In Calico'. Iris au Trescols 2000.
