'Newly Rich' (Steve Varner, R. 1969). Seedling# 460. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Color Class-Y1F, Full yellow self; orange beard. 'Illini Gold' X 'Rainbow Gold'. Illini Iris 1970. Franklin Cook Cup 1971; Honorable Mention 1971.
