From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog, 1964: NIGHT WINGS Framke '63 M.VL. 39 in. Black Hills x Tomp.59-78:- Brigadoon x Mountain Music. A medium-large to Large flower of very dark satiny violet with an infusion of rich violet rose and a touch of brown at the clean unmarked hafts. A deep blueish, brown tipped beard and nicely ruffled petals adds to its beauty as does a dusted on sooty like overlay. A fast grower and one we have been using heavily so stock has piled up allowing it suse in this group. 3.00
