- Description states "purple beard, tipped mustard"; base of beard is purple, amount of mustard tipping apparently varies, which makes some beards look yellow. -- BetsyHiggins - 2015-06-03
- TB 'Nights of Gladness' bloomed at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately June 4-12, in 2017. 'Nights of Gladness' has purple based foliage at the base of its leaves, as well as having purple on its spathes. -- HollyJohnson2017-04-01 - 18 Sep 2017
