From Sass catalog, 1937: NO-WE-TA (H. P. Sass, 1932)- A pinker Midgard type of entirely different form and an iris of exquisite coloring. S. Conic arched and frilled. It is a beautiful true pink self in effect with yellow flushes at the center and edges of the falls and standards. 32 inches. 75c

From 1932 Eden Road Garden catalog: NO-WE-TA (H. P. Sass, 1932) --S. conic, arched. A self of pink with slight yellow flush. 32-inch stem. $20.00

From 1936 Schreiner's catalog: On page 28 we have pictured both the pinkest and the bluest of all iris. The former honor belongs to the much-sought-after NOWETA, a warm creamy pink with no suggestion of lavender. Every year this fresh, genuine pink with waxy curled and crinkled petals strikes us as more beautiful. $1.50
