1990, Plotner
'Normandy Bay' (William Plotner, R. 1989). Seedling# 85-507. TB, 40-42" (102-107 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standarads dark violet (RHS 86A/B); falls velvety and slightly darker (83A/B); violet blue (92A) beard tipped lighter (92B); slight spicy/musky fragrance. Seedling# 79-104: ('Pizzazz' x 'Diplomat') X seedling# 86-6: ('Ron' x 'Blue Luster'). Wildwood Gardens 1990.
