NURMAHAL. One of the two magnificent seedlings introduced by Col. Nicholls of Ithaca, N. Y., last summer. Standards deep brown, with a hint of violet, very large, circular, and domed. Falls very deep black-brown with a red undertone. Yellow beard. Of the 'Grace Sturtevant' type, but a larger flower with better substance and much finer standards. A wonderful new iris that is sure to attract instant attention. Each $12.00 [Cooley's Wholesale pricelist, 1932] |
