'October Shadows' (G. P. Brown, R. 1950). TB, 34" (86 cm). Early bloom and rebloom. Color Class-VL3. Lavender and gray bitone. 'September Sparkler' x 'Autumn Sunset'. Brown 1950.

From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1964: OCTOBER SHADOWS (Brown '52) ++ ++ E-L-28". Starts with a long spring bloom; re-blooms prolifically July to October, approaching everblooming. Standards light silvery lilac flushed yellow. Falls lilac rose. Splendid tall stalks, wide low branching, 12 flowers per stalk. Pollen plentiful; very good seed setter. Enticingly fragrant. September Sparkler X Autumn Sunset. Regularly $1.50; on $10 order $1.10; on $25 order 90c.
