From AIS Bulletin #225 Spring 1977 Introducing OCTOBER SUN (Niswonger '77). 1-75: Grand Baroque X Swift River. TB & RE, Mid. and Oct., 32", fertile both ways, FYI. This is a full yellow self with nice proportions. It's being introduced primarily to be used in breeding remontants in order to add quality to this group of irises. It won't rebloom much further north than southern Missouri. $15.00. Cape Iris Gardens.
