'Old Lace' (Sydney B. Mitchell, R. 1945) TB. Early bloom. Color Class-S3L. Seedling plicata x plicata.

From Carl Salbach catalog 1946: OLD LACE. $10.00. A unique bi-color blend of plicata origin. Standards ruffled, palest parchment with a hint of mauve through the center. Ground color of falls similar but with a broad broken wash of mauve. Medium height, good branching and habit. Our only bi-color "fancy."
From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1948: OLD LACE (Mitchell 1945) M. A unique bicolor blend with ruffled standards of palest parchment and a suggestion oi mauve through the center. Base color of the falls is the same as the standards with a broken wash of mauve. Good habit of growth. 36 in. $3.50
