1945, Mitchell 'Old Lace' ( Sydney B. Mitchell, R. 1945) TB. Early bloom. Color Class-S3L. Seedling plicata x plicata. From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1948: OLD LACE (Mitchell 1945) M. A unique bicolor blend with ruffled standards of palest parchment and a suggestion oi mauve through the center. Base color of the falls is the same as the standards with a broken wash of mauve.
