| OMEGA (Washington 1941) V. L One of the latest flowering irises in the garden. The standards are firmly domed of white flushed palest lemon toward the very strong midrib. The semiflaring falls are white with strong overflush of lemon yellow on the upper part of the falls extending well down into the throat. Beard rich yellow. The very strong firm flowers are symmetrically placed on lowly branched stalks. A great addition in the extension of bloom in the garden. 37 in. $6.00. [Mrs. Thomas Nesmith, Fairmount Gardens Catalog, Lowell, Massachusetts, Introductions for 1941. Summer 1942-Spring 1943].
