'Only the Shadow Knows' (Paul Black, R. 2020) Seedling V118B. TB, 33" (84 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards dark slate-purple blending to light grey to tan bands, interior vibrant mid purple; style arms light brassy violet, light olive edge and ridge; falls eggshell white, wide pale butter band becoming darker toward edge, gilt gold rim; beards dark orange in throat, middle mid orange, ends yellow-gold; pronounced sweet fragrance. Seedling R174B: ('Frontline' x 'Bluebird of Happiness') X seedling T19B, 'Lost World' sibling. Mid-America 2020.
