1965, Stevens 'Opal Sheen' (Jean Stevens, R. 1962). Seedling# 2-176. TB, 42" (107 cm). Early midseason bloom. Color Class-V1P, Pale silvery lilac self, opalescent sheen, creamy beard. From inbreeding yellow and pink amoenas and rose-toned derivatives of 'Mary Randall'. Wanganui 1965.
