1961, Hamblen

'Orange Parade' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1958). Seedling# H5-12. TB, 38" (97 cm). Early to late bloom. Color Class-O3, Standards marigold-orange; falls Spanish-orange; orange-red beard. (('Pink Tower' x 'Radiation') x 'Pink Formal') X sibling to 'Glittering Amber'. Mission Bell 1961. High Commendation 1958, 1959; Honorable Mention 1962; Award of Merit 1964.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: ORANGE PARADE (Ham. '61) E.L. 36 in. (( P. Tower x Radiation) x P. Formall) x Glittering Amber Sib.). A wide-petaled, large flower of deep Marigold orange and Spanish orange with a rich red orange beard. Moderately ruffled and slightly laced. H.M. 1962. NET 20.00.
