'Orange Star' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1980). Seedling# H74-43A. TB, 30" (76 cm). Midseason late bloom. Standards persimmon orange (RHS 26B); falls near orange (26A); burnt orange beard. Seedling# 69-86-1: ('Azure Gold' sibling x (('Valimar' sibling x 'June's Sister') x 'Tomeco')) X 'Hilight'. Mission Bell 1981. High Commendation 1980 (seedling H74-43A); Honorable Mention 1983; Award of Merit 1985.
