Hybridizers Comment: Ordination comes from Jim's emerging line of plicatas. The centers of the ruffled standards are maroon with white rays. The edges of the standards are banded with wide butterscotch borders. The ruffled and fluted falls are white with maroon borders. Beards are burnt gold. This iris is destined to be the forerunner of what Jim hopes will be a line of plicatas with multicolored standards. Show stalks with 8 buds. A bit slow in growth, but definitely worthy of introduction. Unusual and quite unique.
