From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1962: ORIENTAL PEARL (Lyon 1956) Each 6.00. This has all the requirements necessary to become a great iris. Good substance, good form and well branched. In color a light medium shade of Orient pink with a flush of soft coral pink. Center of falls appears to be a soft spinel pink and whole flower is highlighted by a deep Mars orange beard. HM 1957. 40 inches. |
