'Osage Orange' (Ray Lyons, R. 1986). Seedling# LY 80-27-B. TB, 38.5" (73 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Ruffled and laced full orange; large tangerine beard. 'Symphonette' X 'Dawnbreaker'. Long's Gardens 1989.

From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 Introducing OSAGE ORANGE (Ray Lyons) TB 35" M. Sdlg. LY80-27-B. A full orange self, nicely ruffled and well laced. Domed standards and flaring falls are highlighted by large tangerine beards. 7 buds. At times a bashful bloomer, but worth the wait. Symphonette X Dawnbreaker. EC 1985. $25.00 Long's Gardens.
