Vilmorin-Andrieux catalog: 1938, p. 5.
From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1951: "A French introduction resembling in some ways the popular MARQUITA but with more cinnamon rose color in the falls and considerable of this tint blended in the standards. The ground color is deep cream. A really different iris and a good grower and free bloomer; seldom seen."
