(TB) 'Palaurea'

1918, Sturtevant

'Palaurea' ( Grace Sturtevant, 1918) TB; Midseason bloom, Color Class-S1L. Journal of The Royal Horticultural society 53:Pt 1, page 142, January 1930 trials. First Class Certificate-Massachusetts Horticultural Society 1915. Presumably a cross between Iris pallida and Iris variegata 'Aurea'.

From Sturtevant Glen Road Iris Garden catalog, 1920: PALAUREA— A shaded Lobelia Violet with a warm glow of yellow thru the center, of pallida habit. 3 ft. F.C.C. (MHS) 1915. $4.00.
