From R. Wallace Co. catalog, 1922: PARAGON (Wallace). Early strong growing and free-flowering. S pale lavender-blue, Falls a slightly deeper shade flushed rosy-purple, pale brown markings on the haft. Practically a self. 3½ft. C V. 1/6 each.
From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: PARAGON (Wallace). S. pale lavender blue; F. slightly deeper shade flushed rosy purple. Better blue than Commodore. A flower of Ann Page type, but smaller; midseason. Height, 27 inches. $1.00
