PARIS OPERA (Benson) - Not as widely grown as it should be. Some parts of the country do have trouble growing and blooming it, however. A clean sparkling lavender with self beard. Nice stalks and impeccable form and ruffling. [Perry Dyer, “A Tall bearded Collection for the Beginner”, The Bulletin of the American Iris Society, No. 237 (April 1980): 36.] |
