Introductory Description from Cooley's 1953: |
From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1957: PASTELLA (Hall 1953) Each 3.00. Extra large lavender rose self with a luscious all-over rose cast on both standards and falls. Though of FLAMINGO parentage, this is not a pink iris; however, the beard is the familiar tangerine orange. Attracts attention from all visitors. |
