| From AIS Bulletin #193 April 1969 Introducing PEARL KEMP. M. 32". Sdlg. 62-21-A (three generations of breeding involving Fay pinks, Dream Dust, and Celestial Snow). Beautiful iridescent cream with bright gold beard and a matching touch of gold on the hafts. The mixture of pink and blue blood lines gives the flower an opalescent quality with hints of ice blue and lemon in the cream. The standards are closed and round; falls are round and flaring. The well-substanced flower is delicately ruffled and laced. 9 buds to a stalk; healthy foliage. $25. Sheaff Iris Garden. |
