'Pearls And Gold' (Opal Brown, R. 1984) Seedling #77-lA5. TB, 28-30" (71-76 cm), Late midseason bloom. Fluted and crimped pale lavender, fading to pearly white, laced gold edge; burnt orange beard. Seedling #73-8B2: ('Baroque' x 'Saber Dance') X 'Silver Shower'. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens 1984. Exhibition Certificate 1983.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing PEARLS AND GOLD (0 Brown '84) TB, 28-30", ML. Fluffy flowers of pale lavender changing to pearly white with age. All petal edges are fluted and crimped with a fine gold edge, including crests. Standards are well held and falls flare nearly horizontally. Unique beards of sienna (burnt orange) lend distinction. #77-IA5: (Baroque x Saber Dance) X Silver Shower. Well received in Seattle last spring at Region 13 meeting. $25.00. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens.
