| From Tellâs Iris Garden catalog, 1951: PEARLY MORN (Thorup). Midseason. (Snow Flurry x pollen parent of Helen Fitzgerald.) Awarded first in the seedlings at Salt Lake City Iris show 1949. A very large, full flower of an unusual "mother-of-pearl" coloring. The bloom has heavy substance, holding its delicate coloring throughout the life of the flower. Heavy well branched stalks 40 inches tall. Highly Commended 1949. $20.00. |
