1999, Lauer

'Penny Lane' ( Larry Lauer, R. 1999). Seedling #93-334-1. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards and style arms saffron yellow; falls cadmium orange, rim darker; beards tangerine; ruffled, lightly laced; slight sweet fragrance. 'Voltage' X seedling# 91-160: ( 'Gratuity' x 'Bogota'). Lauer's Flowers 1999. Franklin Cook Cup 2000; Honorable Mention 2001; Award of Merit 2003.
