1977, Roach

'Penny's Plic' (Lura Roach, R. 1977). Seedling# 71-38B. TB, 35" (89 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards white ground, bordered hyacinth blue (RHS 40); falls white ground with short rays of hyacinth blue from beard, forming star pattern, finely feathered border; yellow beard tipped blue; ruffled. Seedling #68-94: ( 'Thelma Leaton' x 'Blue Petticoats') X 'Charmed Circle'. Riverbank Gardens 1977.
