From McKee Gardens 1952 Introductions Notice: PEQUOT Lights On x Moontide. A large red self of good form and substance, no veinations in the haft. The crossing of Lapham's Lights On (a fine red) by Moontide (an orange-toned yellow), produced some nice reds with less of the usual purple cast. I believe the infusion of orange-toned yellows with reds has great possibilities for improving [red] color. 36" stalk. $10.00
