From Cayeux et Le Clerc catalog 1930, p. 7: "This new variety throwing stems 3 1/2 feet tall bearing enormous flowers. The standards are lavender suffused lilac, the falls spreading almost horizontaly amaranthine-rose paling off gradualy to light lavender at the margins. A very fine ample plant of great vigour."
