From AIS Bulletin #250, July 1983 Introducing PINK ENCORE. Nice bright pink reblooming TB. Brighter at center with bright redpink beards. Excellent grower, good stalks and branching. Fertile both ways, sets pods easily. Real showy in a clump. A judge reports it as the best pink rebloomer seen (though not as good as some once blooming pinks). It has been used for crossing by a few hybridizers. Reliable rebloomer in Oklahoma and south, but frost sometimes nips it here. Order from this ad: 1 for $15, 2 for $25 plus $1.50 for postage. A. Theodore Mueller.
