'Pink Pirouette' (William Newhard, R. 1968). Seedling# 702. TB, 30" (76 cm). Early, midseason and late bloom. Orient pink (RHS 36A); falls peach (29D); tangerine-red beard. 'Rippling Waters' X 'Alice Christy'. Pallette Gardens 1970. High Commendation 1968; Honorable Mention 1972.

From AIS Bulletin #197 April 1970 Introducing PINK PIROUETTE (W. Newhard '70). EML, 30". Sdlg. 702 (Rippling Waters X Alice Christy). A personality plant with medium large flowers of good substance. Stalks are sturdy and wind is never a problem. The heavily laced flowers have a tangerine red beard. Prolific bloomer. HC '68. $25.00. Palette Gardens.
