'Pink Whistle' (L. R. Smith by G. Hanson, selector, R. 1966). Seedling# 63-7P. TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-R1P. Clear pale pink self; darker pink beard; ruffled stylearms, slightly darker. 'June Meredith' X 'Fleeta'. Riverdale 1967.

From AIS Bulletin #185 April 1967 Introducing PINK WHISTLE (L. R. Smith). TB. 32". Very clear non-fading pale pink, ruffled and flaring. The beard and huge ruffled stylearms are a darker shade of pink. Falls are so broad they touch each other. Heavy, durable substance. Strong wellbranched stalks. $20.00. Riverdale Iris gardens.
