'Pompon One' (Nate Rudolph, R. 1986). Seedling #80-67. TB, 30" (76 cm), Late bloom. Standards none; pinkish tan styles; falls three are white with light blush of orchid and wide tan band, three are white with wide orchid band, yellow hafts; white beard; flounced and fringed; pronounced spicy fragrance. 'Lilac Frost' X 'Oriental Etching'. Klehm Nursery 1987.

From AIS Bulletin #264 January 1987 Introducing POMPON ONE-Sdlg. 80-67: (Lilac Frost X Oriental Etching) TB, 30", L. Overall color is an exotic combination of tan, orchid, yellow and white. The 4-1/2" x 6" blooms have no standards, but have six falls and styles and no stamens. Three falls are white with a light blush or orchid and widely banded tan. Yellow hafts. Three falls are white with wide orchid bands and yellow hafts. Very flounced and fringed. Pinkish tan styles. Very sparse beards. So far no seeds. This is a very unusual oddity but pleasing to look at. (See inside back cover this Bulletin for color photo). In short supply. $30.00. Klehm Nursery.
