From AIS Bulletin #177, April 1965. Introducing PORT ROYAL (Larry Gaulter) M-L 36" Sparkling white ground plicata with deep blue-violet stitching embroidered on the petal edges. An unusually large white area in the standards emphasizes the contrast between the ground color and the markings. A blue tipped beard further accents this contrast. Large ruffled widepetaled blossoms are shown off on strong stalks with many buds and fine branching. Rococo X Latest Love. Sdlg. 63-75. Net $25.00. Mission Bell. |
