2002, Spoon

'Potomac Fireworks' (Donald Spoon, R. 1997). Seedling #93-68A. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards and style arms near-white, palest lavender blue cast; falls white, blue lavender rim and shadings; beards white-based red, ending in 1" fuzzy lavender blue horn; ruffled. 'Skyblaze' X 'Stars And Stripes'. Winterberry 2002.

From AIS Bulletin #325 April 2002 Introducing Potomac Fireworks TB SA, 32" (81 cm), M. Approach to red, white and blue. Standards and style arms near-white with pale lavender blue cast. Falls white with medium blue lavender rim and shadings. Beards white-based red, ending in a 1" lavender blue fuzzy horn. Ruffled and flared. Clumps with an abundance of show stalks. Fertile both ways. Great parent for space agers. E.C. (Skyblaze X Stars and Stripes). $40. Winterberry Gardens.
