From AIS Bulletin #129, April 1953. Introducing PRECIOUS DAYS (1953) Sdlg. 51-19 (Keene Valley x Jane Phillips). This is the exact color of Grasmere in a formal shape. The tailored flowers are 5½ inches and the 39 inch stalk has had as many as five branches with the lowest branch rebranched. It is an early bloomer and in combination with Grasmere this soft blue color is retained in the garden for the entire length of the iris season. A clump has great carrying power. $20.00.
