From AIS Bulletin #205 April 1972 Introducing PROSPERITY (Keppel) EM 36" (Glittering Gold x (Spellbound x El Paso)) X ((Russet Wings x Tom Tom) x Moon River). Plant this gold and enrich your garden! Standards lightly swirled, touching; ruffled falls strongly flared. Deep goldenrod color with a suede-like finish on the falls. Heavy well-branched stalks, usually three branches, side spur and terminal; multiple buds. $15.00. Keith Keppel. |
PROSPERITY (Keppel) - A rich gold that is quite sunfast. In some soils it will be closer to brown (bronze) than yellow. Though a bit shorter than most, it throws show stalks (I won Queen of Show with it one year). Main fault is a few brown haft marks, especially in cool years or on cloudy days.
