From Sturtevant Glen Road Iris Garden catalog, 1920: QUEEN CATERINA— Pale Lavender Violet with beard of Cadmium Yellow and a white haft veined with bronze. The height of its strong, slightly flexuous stems, the size of its smooth textured blooms, and its general excellence made decision difficult in the awarding of the Silver Medal. 3-4 ft. F.C. C. M.H.S. 1916. $7.50.
From Movilla Gardens catalog, 1921: QUEEN CATERINA. (Sturtevant 1918.) F. C. C., M. H. S. 1916. Pale lavender-violet, with yellow beard; white haft, veined with bronze. Should supplant Caterina in the East, as it is a strong grower. 30 inches.
 
From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: QUEEN CATERINA (Sturtevant 1918) 9.0. A large, iridescent, pale lavender-violet self, white at the haft, with bronzed reticulations and yellow beard. A flower of good form and a coloring that is much admired. One of the finest American introductions. $1.00 each; $2.50 for 3.
