From Western Iris Gardens catalog, 1948: RANGITIKEI (Stevens, 1940). M. 36" A jawbreaker name but with an eye-opening color appeal, this flower is in fine form and of excellent substance. Rich carmine purple, it's a complementary color for planting adjacent to rich yellow or strong pink. The beard is glowing gold. Good color accent in the garden. $2.50
