'Ranks Of Blue' (J. Griffin Crump, R. 2001). Seedling# 98K10. TB, height 37" (94 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Dark blue violet self; beards dark blue violet; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling# G952N5: ('Holy Night' x 'Best Bet') X seedling# G95W2: ('Holy Night' x 'Sweeter Than Wine'). Winterberry 2004

From AIS Bulletin #332 January 2004 Introducing Ranks of Blue (G. Crump) TB, 37" (94 em), ML. Ruffled, dark blue-violet bitone neglecta with velvety falls and smooth hoafts. This cultivor received recognition ot the 2003 Convention where it performed very well in a11 the guest gardens. It has uniqueness. ((Holy Night x Best Bet) X (Holy Night x Sweeter Than Wine)). $35. Winterberry Gardens.
