'Raven's Roost' (Gordon Plough, R. 1980). Seedling# 74-9-1. TB, 45" (114 cm). Late midseason bloom. Fluted and lightly ruffled purple black; dark blue beard tipped mustard. 'Black Market' X 'Patent Leather'. Eden Road 1981.

From 1981 Eden Road catalog: RAVEN'S ROOST (Plough '81) ML 45 in. No. 74-9-1. (Black Market X Patent Leather). Tall new black that is widely flaring with fluting and light ruffling. Color is black from the purple side. Beards are dark blue with each hair tipped mustard. You'll like this bold beauty. $30.00 [no photo in this catalog or 1982.]
