'Re-Treat' ( Raymond G. Smith, R. 1976). Seedling# 74-8HR. TB, 30" (76 cm), Midseason bloom and rebloom. Strong violet (Nickerson 10PB 3/10) self with lighter area around orange beard. Seedling# 6985D: (( 'Arctic Flame' x seedling# D109E) x ( 'Lovely Again' x seedling# D132A)) X seedling# 6472A: (( 'Blue Duet' x 'Sea Double') x (seedling# 6654CR x 'Laced Duet')). R. G. Smith 1978.

From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing RE-TREAT. Large, wide, floriferous, ruffled, medium purple. Rebloomed in August and continued heavy bloom into November. Makes a gorgeous clump. Excellent branching and substance. $25.00. Raymond Smith.
