From Mission Gardens catalog, 1963: REGAL RUFFLING (Mission Gardens 1962) Parentage is Snow Flurry and Celestial Blue. Deep heliotrope blue with white beard and light blaze on haft near the beard. Standards are ruffled and falls are broad, flaring and very heavily ruffled all the way around the edges. Blooms profusely. This is a short iris, 28 to 30 inches tall and stands up straight in all kinds of weather. If you want an iris with lots of ruffling and real garden value be sure to try Regal Ruffling. $20.00 |
